TROUBL is…Coming home after a long days work at the Montgomery Fair Department store, boarding the bus and taking a seat in the first row of the “colored section.” While the bus continues along its routes, more passengers fill the cabin. Eventually all the seats are taken and only three white passengers are left standing. Following procedure, the driver tells you and three others to move so that the white passengers can sit. The three others get up and move to the rear. You on the other hand slide to the window seat, refusing to move.
