I’m Sean Bell

im-sean-bell-2.jpgThese photos were taken Friday, April 25 in Queens NY, at the protest that followed the acquittal of the officers responsible for Sean Bell’s murder.

Everyone felt the bullet wounds in his torso. Everyone felt the tears of yet another young man of color, supposedly, at the wrong place and at the wrong time. Anyone could’ve been there. Amongst the crowd of rallying people, everyone was Sean Bell.im-sean-bell-7.jpgim-sean-bell-12.jpgim-sean-bell-3.jpgim-sean-bell-4.jpgim-sean-bell-13.jpg

There’s a war going on. It’s for our minds. The enemy profits from our ignorance and apathy. We fight back. Our philosophy: question what we’ve been taught, examine society and create a community that teaches and inspires collective action.
